International Infrastructure Services Manager

Location: Sopot

Job description:

As part of ERGOs Infrastructure and Operations Global division, you will take ownership of the operations of International Infrastructure Service organization and be a part of the onboarding process of the international ERGO affiliates to ensure a smooth transition for the Affiliates into operations. To be successful within our team, you will already have deep experience in leading international IT organizations and management of complex international transitions and operations for international clients transforming from the “as-is” fragmented infrastructure environment into a shared and where applicable consolidated „to be” environment. Main infrastructure areas are Data Center Services, Network Services, Client Services, Service Management and Provider Management.

You are already a senior Manager with experience in an international organization.

The role of the International Infrastructure Service Manager contains the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsibility within the transition activities of the transition and transformation programs, from the due diligence to the final onboarding of the affiliates, to ensure the baselining and smooth transition from the programs to your responsibility of international operations
  • Preparation of the international operations’ KPIs and Service Levels and their presentation to the ERGO Board
  • Preparation of the international operations costs in comparison with the Business Cases per Affiliate to present them to the ERGO Board
  • Responsible for the operations of the International Infrastructure Services for ERGO at a global level, excluding German affiliates where applicable
  • Responsible for management of global Service Providers (Data Center, Network and Client Services)
  • Responsible for the relations (IT Operation Governance) between the international affiliates, our global provider and our organization
  • Regular reporting of relevant international financial operations
  • Developing the scope of services, cost and support for all new Services
  • Forecasting and measuring performance progress and challenges
  • Close management of budgets and timescales
  • Providing strong and clear leadership and high-level direction to the whole team
  • Being able to lead a variety of different challenges in a volatile and complex international IT environment
  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Infrastructure and Operations

Job specification:

  • An exceptional track record of delivering high performance infrastructure operations at a country or global level
  • An exceptional track record of managing multi-provider and multi-service beneficiary environment in infrastructure operations
  • Proven ability to manage a small two-pronged team toward managing service beneficiaries (affiliates) in a captive provider/integrator environment, and managing integrated delivery through multi-provider environment
  • Experience of structuring, running and managing complex infrastructure operations in specific technical areas, such as data centres, helpdesks, networks
  • Confidence and watchfulness to inspire trust in executive management
  • Excellent collaboration / communication skills
  • The flexibility to travel

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 10 years’ experience in running and managing complex infrastructure services in specific technical areas, such as data centres, networks and workplaces
  • Fluency in English (mandatory) and German (optional) languages
